In December 2020 I received a local grant for making yoga and movement integration workshops. We did them online because of the pandemic and the main goal of those was to share the knowledge as well as experiences of how to take care of our bodies and minds in nowadays times of uncertainty.
For three weeks in a row we've been meeting each Saturday with an intention to make something good for ourselves. Besides doing yoga we also discovered the breathing techniques, did some tai chi and exercises for the anxiety, and stress regulation. We also spoke about what balance is, how important is to preserve it and what are the ways to do it, tried guided relaxation and had little intro into the topic of chakras.
It was a lot of fun! I was so happy to share what I've learned on the yoga teachers training course in September, and it was so inspiring to see how many people were joining this idea all the way through!
I wanted to live it here as a memory, as a little postcard from those days about what it was and how. And also to say thanks once again to everyone who has been there with me in this adventure! 😊
Sometimes it seems like we just can't afford to pause, take a break, relax, put some special care to ourselves and a little mindfulness to our actions. It sounds like "WHAAAT my brain is boiling already, I have too many things on my head, there is no time for making breaks!". However, the secret is that if you crave even 5-10 min. of your time to do some breathing exercise, practice yoga, meditate or simply close your eyes and calm down, your productivity level will go up and you will do those tasks from which your head is boiling much better 😊
